Vote, Vote, Vote

Quite a laugh though, to visit the facts and fun forums and see them squabbling over who has an accurate number of recorded members, or who is going to win the poll, and who should be ahead in the poll and by how much based on all that.

In fact it's even more meaningless now, as there's mention of people using different computers to vote multiple times, to game up their forum's total. I even hear one of the admins sent round an email exhorting his members to vote. Desperation time!

Caravan Guard must be rubbing their hands in glee at all the extra traffic :p
 
To be fair, I think most of what I read was on Fun.

If you've shelled out your tenner to be a member of Facts and didn't get an email telling you to vote, then Fun may be spreading rumours, so apologies from me if that info wasn't true.

Also, bear in mind those forums are pretty heavily moderated so if someone says something contentious it's quite likely to be zapped. The stuff about voting multiple times, or trying to, was there in black and white though ;)

Ahhhh, I see. Our very own version of the insurance company's contest that we just decided was best ignored.
 
Voted - do I detect "multiple" voting? There are some of those forums that I know get an enormous number of hits every day and yet they are showing as lagging right at the bottom of the lists
 
I think we should do our own awards for different motorhome related companies and products. What do you think?
 
Not into this kind of thing, a site is as good as the real info that you can get out, this one got my money, so I voted with my wallet.

hi old friend but I won't try again ...I found it impossible to vote anyway why bother helping an insurance company that clearly likes other less worthwhile sites!!!!![ It's bloody caravan biased too as witness its name nyway the rfearfgoard is always the best-we are the bravest of the brave! Right,Phil? Right-on!

You can't vote any more Sandra, that Poll has closed.

There may be another one next year though :)
