well i have cast my vote ,we now have a grand total of 11 woopee .but lets face it we are the best and you dont have to guild a lilly and do you know why this site is the best :D COS I AM ONIT :cool::p:D:rolleyes:
 
Just pushed the total number of votes up 14, not a good result for a site with soooo many users.

I would give this forum a vote as well but you can't vote for two :p

In any case, it is not what is the "best," it is what is the "biggest" because all the forums will have a similar thread to this. So reading between the lines, a certain factual forum will likley win or failing that a funny one.

The competition is therefore about as much use as a chocolate teapot ;)

Why would you bother playing someone else's silly game. Better to have no votes at all to demonstrate that we are so confident that we can't be bothered.
 
To be honest the bigger picture here is that the only people to win are caravan wise insurance. They now have hundereds of motorhome users going to their website, to vote for an award which is worthless. They are really just playing on the rivalry between forums to boost their sales and search engine backlinks. Do you notice that their are no link backs (clickable links) to take you back to wildcamping or any of the other site?

I had a look today and it is turning into a forum war on the site. Great for Caravan wise bad for the forums.

I think Maingates intentions here were good and I posted a bit about wildcamping on there. But to be honest the way we win is by not taking part.

The good think about like is that there is a heart at the top of the thread which tells you which posts got the most "likes" then you can jump to them!
 
Well I had to have a look as you are all talking about it so I looked and I voted for us. I like this site and I don't care what others may think so it was probable a waste of time. What the 'ell:)
 
I have cast my vote and yes it was WCfM, I also had a look at the other web sites listed and decide I would't waste my time logging then into "my favourites" except for !!!!, because they did't impress me at all.

I say three cheers for Phil and his team - good job well done.
