I have the above solar charger connected to 2 panels ( 1 x 100w and 1 x 60w ) and in turn it is connected to brand new 2 x 110AH Expedition Plus Lead Carbon Gel batteries.

The bulk, absorbtion and float lights in turn are flashing slowly ( approx every 3 seconds ).

It is set to charge at 14.3v and float at 13.7v ( recommended by a member ) which it seems to do perfectly and has been verified by 2 multi-meters.

The no load current from the solar panels hits a maximum of 22.1v in full sun.

The batteries are fully charged very soon after the charger kicks in when it`s 5v above the batteries volatge as it should.

Have i got a problem ?
 
Maybe a bluetooth connectivity issue? David will know I'm sure but try disabling and then re-enabling bluetooth for now. Make sure you're in range of course. (y)

Range isn`t the problem, i`m looking at the charger whilst holding the phone approx 3-4ft away.

I`ll try disabling and re-enabling to see if that works, i`ll be back.
 
All lights flashing is typically trying to connect via Bluetooth.
I would power-cycle the controller to see if that sorts it. (Remove battery positive and either remove solar +ve or cover panel up enough so power is lost)
 
Ref the Bluetooth... Have you connected this before to your phone? You need the pin to connect (000000) the first time and sometimes the request for the pin number disappears behind the app window so you don't notice it but it is still waiting for it. maybe that is the problem why the lights are staying flashing?
 
If disabling the Bluetooth then re-enabling it didn’t work, try switching your phone off altogether and leave it a minute before switching back on again. I don’t have a Victron but have done this with other Bluetooth connected devices in the past to re-establish lost connections.
 
Thank you for all the suggestions, i have now tried all of them and it`s still the same.

It has been connected to this phone for 12 months now, i`ve never noticed the lights flashing before but the controller is under a bench so i don`t normally see it and was the primary reason for going for the bluetooth version which i`ve had for a couple of years now, all the Victron readings on the phone are normal and react instantly.

The only thing different is the 2 new Lead Carbon Gel batteriers and i adjusted the settings slightly for them from the Xplorer Lead Acid ones previously.

I also drew some load from the batteries which were floating at approx 4 - 5w, 0.2 - 0.4amps and 13.7v and the charging went straight up to 98w and 7.1amps going into the batteries to bring them back to the 13.7v which it did quickly as the panels are now in full sun.
