i was recently in cornwall on a NT car park miles from anywhere and a mobile chippy rolled up and said he saw my lights on and did i want any thing !! i ask you what a nerve with me being a retired chef !!! i had the halibut and chips with mushy peas and gravy and a load of scratchings.....as general McCarthy said at singapore....i shall return.

NT Cornwall

I live in Cornwall Steve, You and Kay must have enjoyed it, as General McCarthy said "I will return" Try our pasties the next time. You are being watched!!!!!

and a load of scratchings.....

Was there something wrong with the Halibut then Steve? Couldn't resist (again)

pasties

ann ..... you must know that your namesake on the lizard makes the best pasties in the world..indeed, she exports them all over...if you havent visited her gastronomic palace ,then you should make the pilgrimage to pasty heaven !!

scratchings

as for you virgil....you must be the expert at scratchings with your body cast on. ( i also couldnt resist ) no offence !!!!

Steve, Virg likes pulling the lads legs, that's why he got one in a cast. Who knows!!! we may have to take him with us on vacation if the other leg gets busted. Ouch, Virg, I do wish you the best of health.

Sorry Graham/SNG
We did not bump into each other on Sunday. My MH is parked at the back of my house on Beach Road. Did you pop in to the "BLUE" bar. Nice to sit in the bay windows and watch the ocean. If I remember it was wet, windy and not a great day. I am usually in the Blue having a game of pool. Never mind, I hope you had a nice visit to Cornwall.
