USB Expansion Ports

Most USB hubs require a 12v supply anyway and as mentioned earlier, they are usually only for data not power/charging.

Choose a dedicated USB charging hub that plugs into a 12v cigar socket, which is connected to the leisure battery.
It's not good practice to run accessories from the engine battery, to minimise the chance of a flat engine battery.

Did so - don’t have a tv so running off that cigar 12v over the foot of the bed. Also bought a second for the front cigar lighter, but it goes off with the engine. All working well 😀

For multiple charging We got 2 of these ]

Restricted to one spot though,i have a set at dash, set above tv and another above sink /draining board.

Hows that we got 2 of them that gives us the opportunity to charge 8 items at once which I can plug either of them in any of 4 sockets around the van Dash,Lounge,Kitchen, or Bedroom and where ever we go we can take it with us much better than a fixed plug mounted in one position

Dead on though i prefair a fixed unit but every one knows what works for them.
Mine are near lockers so can connect phones etc and shove them away, stops kids tripping over them, out of site out of mind.
