URGENT - Email scam please read

Hi everyone,

It has come to my attention that a scammer has been impersonating one of our members, Alf, and reaching out to others—including myself—requesting the purchase of gift cards. Please do not buy any gift cards—it’s a scam.

If you have been contacted, please report it in this thread. If you have already purchased gift cards, please let us know as well.

A major red flag was that “Alf” included three kisses at the end of the message—and let’s be honest, he doesn’t love me that much!

Alf is aware of the situation, but unfortunately, he has not had access to that email address for over three years. His actual email is a Gmail address, not tiscali.co.uk.

Stay vigilant and spread the word!

Yes, I got the email but was just an enquiry how I was doing and that he had Laryngitis. Then on a different email address of mine I got the scam plea to buy an Airbnb card. The sender is now blocked.
Edited to add: Reported as spam.

He sent me a message regarding this, seems a lot are on the go, main one is Mc afee antie viruse protection, when you click unscribe with you email adress it grabs your Ip adress and says its taking over £400 from your bank acc or paypal.

I replied to Alf's??? first email that said he was unwell. When the second one came you could see it wasn't Alf calling. Keep strong Alf. xxx

Im going to be rich soon as iv had a email from a african prince who has inherted his uncles fortune, but he must hide it for tax reasons, all he is asking for are my bank details and password so he can depossit a sum of 20 million in and give me 10% when he can withdraw the money, so should i place a order for a new hymar asap to take advantage of his good offer.
