Updating info on integral GPS on 2018 Fiat Ducato and a question about plinking

Anyone know what's involved? I don't know if it's disk driven or not.

Also, does anyone else get the issue where there is quiet 'plink' noise from nav system which is annoying because it mutes whatever you are listening to for three seconds. I see no pattern to what causes it - sometimes doesn't happen for days on but then returns.

I don't know the system you have, but the app I use has a feature that warns if you exceed the speed limit by more than a set amount. This can give either a visual and/or audible warning. With the audible warning turned off, it still mutes whatever I'm listen to if the source is the phone that the sat nav is running on. Of course, I have no idea whether your system has such a feature nor how to access it if it does -- so just a stab in the dark!

Sounds like the same as the one in our van which is a TomTom 5” Uconnect. If you create a TomTom account (or already have one) and register your device on there you can access the guide/manual which explains how to update. You only get limited free updates though (a year from new I think) and it is quite a faff to update. The other drawback I found is it’s not motorhome specific (or at least mine isn’t)
