Unsure and which way to go

I am looking to get some information on an unlocked router for my laptop and mobile whilst I am away mostly for western Europe. I know from what I have read here that it is an open ended question, but in a nutshell, something that will perform well, subject to coverage, I know that the SIM is also part of the issue, but mostly for her indoors to watch TV for at least 5 hours a day and for me to catch up on my emails. Any info on SIM data will be most grateful. This is for later as we are traveling back to the UK in two days. I don't need the data now.

As previous post commented 5hrs TV is a lot of data..you would need an unlimited data plan (I suggest) big bucks !

Do you need "live TV" (satelite dish) if not a TV with a USB input for (video saved on a memory stick) and or TV with DVD

Yep, live TV streaming is roughly (in simple terms) 1Gb per hour.
