Tyre inflator air compressor?

I like that idea. An inline pressure gauge would work if I can find one. Its a had screw on type mine so I just need that bit in the bottom of your image. The pump as said has been pretty good, its just the gauge.
I'm not sure what type of Quick Connect fitting is on the RAC Hose. There are a few different types, none of which are interchangable.
I have a couple of Air Gauges, bought from LIDL and fitted with the "EURO" style QC. (LIDL air tools tend to use this 'Euro' type). Suited me as that is what I use on my 'big' compressor and the hoses, but would not fit the style on the RAC Hose.
What I would be inclined to do is get a Adapter to convert from one QC type to the other, or similar. Someone like Machine Mart may well have the variety of fittings to try if you take the hose in to check.
Trouble with getting on-line is so much variety and can't be sure of what you are getting (the EURO fitting is very similar in appearance to another (PCL?) but is not compatible) - a starting point maybe ... https://amzn.to/3svH4kc

I had a look. Not that easy really. I think ill just get a better tester and stick with what Ive got.

13KA on the tmaxx hoses ...that look identical to the, ones supplied with the RAC one .

I have one of these Barry.

It's small enough to carry on the bike in the tank bag and it's rechargeable. I recently used it to inflate one of the tyres on my granddaughters car, and one on my son in laws van, both from completely flat. It still had loads left in the battery. I also carry a tubeless tyre repair kit so it might get me out of the crap one day.

Another here for the RAC 900, after recommendations on this site. Great bit of kit and using the clamps I run it off the pos. power take off under the bonnet on the X250. Don't know it's technical name. If I was Barry I'd just save my dosh and get a seperate decent quality pressure guage.

I think thats what ill do. This one came top in an AutoExpress review

I can't remember the last time I put a pressure gauge on my Tyres to check the pressure! must be last year at the soonest?

No need when you have a TPMS installed :D Strongly recommend one of those as you end up checking the tyre pressure throughout your trip, and not just before you set off (and how many people honestly and truely do that anyway??).

If anyone wants a new tyre inflator, I too would endorse the RAC 900, I have seen online comments about 'problems' connecting to battery on x250/290, but as you say, clip on to the jumpstart terminals under the bonnet.

I love this one that came with my late father's Volvo 850 wagon when I dug it out of his garage .

actually I might be better with something angled. That one I linked to is quite fat and the connection is directly at the end. Might be no good for the Suzuki with its spoked wheels or the van with its plastic wheel trims

I have the same for cars, but not high enough for van and ebikes.
I'd get one of these if I needed higher pressures

Decent brand ,not expensive and handy narrow stem for awkward valves

I could do with replacing my ancient Ring RAC tyre inflator which has been used for bikes, cars and the motorhome. The only thing wrong with it is the pressure gauge no longer works so I have to keep taking it off and checking the pressure with a pencil type guage.

I seem to be confronted with a huge range of similar products like this one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/FORTEM-Inflator-Portable-Compressor-Carrying/dp/B089RMCVP8/ref=sr_1_15?crid=34II8AAAG3CN0&keywords=tyre+inflator+air+compressor&qid=1700322151&sprefix=,aps,103&sr=8-15&th=1

Reviews are good until as with all these products you read some of the bad ones. All cheap and made in China I guess to a price. Any recommendations?
I think you are right, the quality of some pumps and the psi range claimed is mickey mouse. I burned out one when trying to get above 40psi, and another i bought from Lidle in France did the same on first use and blew the x250 fuse (a devil to to get at) but at 50psi, although it did look really fancy it was duff.
I now use an old footpump, need the exercise!

An old small oxy welding tank is good if you have space to store it in or under the van, most go to 1500 psi.
Someonr with a diving tank comp may charge it up for you to about half the psi to be safe.

Not a chance anyone involved with diving is going to pressurise some shonky old untested tank Trev ...

None with any sort of integrity anyway ...

Just buy a decent quality 12v compressor and stay safe .
