Warning, for those who travel in the EU zone and are not common with the € coins. There is a large fraud with the new Turkish Lire which is very simular to the 2€ coins (a nickel ring around a bronze centre, same size). (The new Turkish Lire is 1,000,000 old ones, but it is only 0.4 € worth). The Turkish government simply copied the 2€ coin !(to what purpose ?) 
Turn your 2€ piece to the 'Europe' side (opposite the country side): it should have '2€' on it instead of a '1'.
I don't have pictures yet; but the fraud is well spread in Germany and Holland, countries with a large amount of Turkish immigrants.
