Tunit box and internal screens.

In other forums I am a member of, this sort of thing is called "thread shitting". Have a wild guess why...

it's all fun until it happens in YOUR for sale thread. I don't understand why it's so difficult to understand?

it's an item for sale in the for sale section. If you want to buy it, get in touch. Everything else should go in the part of forum where its meant to be. Do you need help with any of your things, post in the discussion forum and you will get PLENTY of help from members.

It's not ganging up against people. It's not narrow minded. It's not unhelpful. Just stay out of for sale threads if you have no intention to buy. Nothing wrong with warning forum members if there is fraud going on or if the seller has a bad record.

of course this is just my own opinion, as always.

Everything arrived safely and very quickly, a good member to buy from:dog:

Tuning boxes

You get what you pay for and as you can get these boxes for £30 off the likes of eBay. And then some others charge £300 plus. For what should do the same thing. ???

They all in effect alter the fuel rail pressure. But some do it in a crude way.

Some cheap ones do actually work. But the tune it box has a bit more technology in it so worth the extra money.

If you pay £300 for a tuning box you will get your money back and more over a period of time depending on vehicle use. Also you will enjoy not having to break into a sweat when negotiation hills etc.

This device is a good bit of kit. Just make sure you do your homework first as it needs to be compatible with your vehicle. Or you will end up with your ECU flashing error messages everywhere. And then you will need me to reset them or clear the codes with my computer

As I said before .... start your own thread.

Too many people ask questions and other members have to take time to tell them. They could google it instead or do a search on the forum but they don't do that.

Is it me, or isn't this item being hammered to death on another thread at this moment in time?

It's you. :p:lol-049:

This thread died off some time ago but has been resurrected again. It is just coincidence that there is another thread of a similar subject.

Shouldn't you be hibernating by now?

I have had one of these things for quite a while.. In fact moved it from old van to new recently..
A good average would bed 1.5 to 2mpg better off .. Does not sound a lot but when you do the sort of miles we do it has paid for its self countless times !

Hate to dis a fellow motor homer and do appreciate this may infringe the rules, but anyone who thinks a tuning box should change the rpm to mph rate REALLY should not be let loose anywhere near something more technical than a box of matches !!

And as you have altered the setting so drastically I hate to think what sort of state your injectors might me in by now.. Really NOT good.
Best advise would be to disconnect it and sell it to someone who knows what it does and will probably get a worthwhile advantage out of it
