Nooooo!

although if you 'lose it' at Bungalow the scenery would be nice for wildcamping ..

In all seriousness, I would like to go there in a camper for the event..shame about the resstrictions.. beginning to feel I have missed the boat regarding campervanning, to some extent

I use Silly moos campsite just outside Ramsey £10 a night ..free tea coffee showers toaster .. BBQ mid week free food .band . on the corse free freezers tv to watch days racing Happy Days

Ive got passes for Mooragh Park Ramsey and Sulby Claddagh. Also plan a bit of wilding and to use the Ayres nature reserve. Hopefully the daft new rule about parking vehicles over 1500kg isn't yet in force.
Silly Moos also sounds good, even though it's £20 a night for two in a van.

I really want to do the TT with my motorhome, and feel Im missing out too!
But you need to book ferries and campsites months in advance to guarentee
getting them ,and I cant plan that far ahead unfortunatly.

I have been there and I would much prefer the TV footage nowadays the Helicopter shots the on bike much better than sitting on a wall watching them go passed at a blink of the eye. As for staying at Peel with a camper, then how do you get elsewhere to view? Take a bike in the back maybe but the CG would be dangerously slow with a load of Germans coming up behind at twice the speed. Nah I'd stay at home and record the lot to watch again and not have to pay the IOM Steam Racket prices.

The campervan parking restrictions are not yet in force and local opposition may prevent these happening. There are still plenty of spaces to park up. I would also give a mention to Silly Moos which is right on the course at a good vantage spot and within easy bus or taxi route into the pubs and restaurants in Ramsey. The showers and toilets are kept spotlessly clean - but I am bound to say that as my other half has the cleaning contract!
