Truma Heater Air Pipe loose

I am having the same problem of the pipes coming away on with my 03 Fiat Ducato Rapido.
The pipe has a plastic collar screwed on the end with a couple of tabs which fit into holes in the boiler casing, the trouble is these tabs have broken off and also the collars will not hold on to the pipe any more.
I have tried taping it, but after going over rough roads etc they come out again, The tubing is only just long enough and I think that is part of the problem.

What I want to do is get some more tubing and a joiner to extend the tubing and take some of the tension off. I have found the beige aluminium tubing for sale online but I can't find the collars anywhere, does anyone know where I can get them.
Thanks

Thanks everyone for your responses/ideas. Apologies for the lack of info. I have a 2004 Hymer Tramp, the Fiat Ducato 2.3 version. The heater is in the bottom of the wardrobe. You have to remove the shelf/base of the wardrobe and the front panel which covers the heater to gain access. The hoses do push inside the heater outlets which are solid and thick. Drilling would be impractical and could cause damage. Because of the design, jubilee clips would also be impractical. The pipes are supposed to hold in simply by pushing them inside the outlet and spiral design of the ducting 'clicks' onto some sort of ridged retaining type design about 2 or 3 inches inside the outlet. Click it in, give it a tug and its solid. Drive somewhere and it comes out. The front outlet is easy to get to as its there in front of you, the others are around the back and with four or five inches clearance round the sides its impossible to get your arm round to do anything. Reaching down from above is marginally easier. I have tried some of the heat resistant aluminium tape. I can get plenty on the front, but with the others I have to tear a length off and try to wrap it around as there isn't enough space to unwind it off the roll as you go. It sticks everywhere it shouldn't! Also the 'collar' on some of the outlets at the back are recessed, making this operation even more onerous! When I get a minute I'll try Smaugs' idea and try to fatten the tube in some way. I'll report back in the next few days. In the meantime keep sending in your thoughts. On the Truma issue rather than your Trauma issues :D

I've fixed this type of connection in the past by filling the 'socket' with silicone sealant.

If you can't leave it to dry for a few days though; it will stink.

Thanks David

Might be a couple or three days before I get chance to have another go. I'll let you know how I get on.

heater hoses

Hi same problemhere too, on a Eura Mobil 635. again. my spaghetti junction of Truma hoses were held in (badly) byself tappers. I left them in, but ran round each and every joint with the same Sikaflex I was already usng to sort the body out A month later and ve got as far as Southern Spain - everything's still secure. I supported the hoses here and there with zip ties to suitable places on the body work, where they needed it. All good.
I wish I could say the same about the Fiat Ducato 2.8 turbo diesel heater on the 2000 model- utter ****. Te hoses are now better than the heater.....
cheers Steve
