Tripod stool

Hi Guys,
Following a lot of standing at this years Giants of Rock and not getting any younger. Can anyone recommend a comfortable portable stool to sit on.Be good if it was light and easy transportable and of course not too expensive.

That's similiar to what I use when fishing, works a treat.
I use one of these occasionally when on a driven shoot and static in one place.

These are very good. I would recommend the metal pointed one though as the ones with just the rubber tip tend to slip on some ground, or can sink in as have no guard.

I've used a little tripod stool for years, like Rob's link. I often see them in the shops for a fiver.

Thanks Rob, I wondered if anyone on here had road tested them for comfort, some can be very low and with some you can feel the metal poles on your a***

Robens Geographic Stool

Very light, strong and quite low. However, it's about the right height if your stove is on the ground. Fits in my backpack nicely.

Sounds good, but don't want the point on the end. Also be good if as with your example if it could fold small.

Depending on your price limit you may try looking up Walkstool comfort, and Walkstool basic. The basic is around £36.00 and the comfort from £67.00 upwards depending on size. All are telescopic, high user weight limit (125kg for the lowest upto about 200kg I think). You can buy spares if you damage any part. Good quality and comfortable. The best prices on Google seem to be from photographic shops, much cheaper than eBay.
