Travel Plans for 2023?

Same old, same old. Usual tedious trip to Portugal, via France and Spain. No doubt meeting up with the usual suspects.
BTW I only make it sound tedious. Can't have Nik thinking I'd be enjoying myself.;) Then again, if needed, I could clear the passenger seat for her.

busy packing the van ready for crossing monday night thought we were ahead of the game loading up now got grandkids coming visiting one for sleepover others for few hours that’s about a day of the planned schedule gone , still plenty of time to relax when we get there, there being spain & portugal hoping to have a couple of weeks around andalusia gibraltar cadiz rota etc then february heading int9 portugal atlanjento etc home for easter

If you have not been, Cordoba is worth a visit Ken. Also, we stayed on Caseras Camping. Not wildcamping by any means. Each pitch has its own toilet/shower. (y)Highly recommend.

A few years ago, on maps.me I plotted a number of Stellplatz in pretty towns on the Moselle and on the Romantische Straße (which I think you might follow en route from the Moselle down to Bavaria - if my geography is right).

If you are interested, I can send you the file. I’m not sure if I can do it by pm though, I’ve sent files to people before and I’m pretty sure it had to be by email.
If it's not too cheeky, I would love to know your route from Moselle down to Bavaria too. It sounds perfect

Private message me your email address and I'll happily send it. You will need maps.me to use the file.
I
'm happy to share.

See ya! :) You usual suspects.

Cordoba is worth a visit
Second that. We were there last July. It was 40 + degrees but still enjoyable. The Alcazar is fascinating.

There is a large free overnight parking area near the zoo, we we were there 2 nights, it's15 mins walk to Alcazar.

So what will you be up to this year? Any firm plans or ides/thoughts on trips for 2023?
We're planning to go to Ireland in the spring in our Trigano Tribute. We do want to take our dog but can't fathom out the restrictions, paperwork etc. Can anyone help?

Nothing this month as we're having a bit of work done on the van soon. Probably a few days away locally to test it all out in Feb.
March, we'll probably go via Harwich to do a bit of Netherlands, Belgium, Lux, and then a fair bit of Germany. Hoping to then do a brief spell of 'flag collecting' via (possibly) Czech, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and then a leisurely bimble up the eastern side of France. That should see us through to June.
All very fluid though, as always.

Its not too far from Moselle area to the beginning of the Romantic road route. As long as you stay off the big roads most routes will be a delight.

When I'm down that way I have to call into Frankenstein for a coffee, not that there is anything particularly special about the town, but come on, how can you drive past a place called Frankenstein.
There are a couple of pretty cool castle remains there though.

We had a trip to Ireland in Sept 2022 via Belfast then into Southern Ireland with 2 dogs. Told needed Animal health certs with Rabies jabs & worming which we had done. No checks getting onto ferry at Loch Ryan & no checks at Belfast & straight across border in Ireland the only way to tell was changes from MPH to KMPH signs. Uk not doing any checks at moment but our trip was just after loony Truss took over so not sure if anything was going to change then. There are a lot of signs about in Ireland saying no dogs. But still a great place to visit. Please pm me if any more info wanted.
