Hi welcome and enjoy,we had a bongo and it had a aft roof(elevating) snug but that's all we found ,maybe you need a bigger veh or get a drive away awning ,there's awnings now that inflate in jig time ,but this depends on how you want to camp I'm afraid

Hi and welcome, bigger van, awning, pop top, or ditch the partner. I'd go for a bigger van.

Hi, I'm also an Alphard owner and new to the site. What kind of conversion do you have? I'm holding off deciding on rear or side until I have a better idea of how I use the space. I'm working with a diy rear set up at the moment and using all the middle seats is giving me a good sized bed.
