Magnetic strips are a big No in my opinion , the thought of knifes flying about in an accident or heavy braking is enough o make me shudder

Having worked in the fire service for 30 years I saw some terrible sights at road accidents. And what some folk don’t seem to understand is when you are travelling at say 40mph and the vehicle stops suddenly in an accident, you and everything not tied down continues to travel at 40mph. There have been many improvements in vehicle safety over the years, but seatbelts remain the best life savers. Carrying knives on a magnetic holder is dangerous.

I'm making my own knife holders that the knives actually slide into rather than stick to. Much safer & safer even than throwing them all in a drawer. Photos to follow when I've made em.....

Our have sheathes on them but have never fallen off despite sharp braking, cobbled, rough roads etc.

Microfibre towels they pack up small, light weight and dry quickly, I purchased 3 bath towels and 2 hand from amazon they came in mesh storage bags would never go back to normal towels now.

No such luxuries here ,we just use a sheep.
