Top Gear On The Offensive!!

You do not post very often applecore.

Thank heaven for that after your 2 posts tonight.

Go and join the other applecores in the bin.

Well I don't care if it was made up for the cameras, I thought it was bl***y hilarious. :D :D

Ruined a nice Citroen XM though.

It's their p**s take of the BBC for telling them to be sensible! And..... as we all know, motorhomers are the sensible-est people on the roads.

I think its a good laugh. Why should everything be so serious? There is enough doom and gloom in this country already.

It was a little too staged though. The older challenges such as the polar challenges and the amphibious vehicles were still funny but were also proper challenges.

By the way if your into TG the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu has the World of Top Gear where you can see all the vehicles from the challenges. Went there in January. Brilliant day out and if your in the CC half price entry. National Motor Museum

Got to agree, considering Topgear is the most successful BBC program sold abroad, then millions agree with you. Therefore the few doubters here make their point pretty irrelevant due to this worldwide success. Clarkson's non pc mysoginist, great wit and attitude make the show a success and my clear hero in this sad female dominated culture of ours, long may he rule!

TV lisence payers/ripp off !

Another bunch of very silly 'take the pi55' people who earn vast amounts of money ' bigging theirselves ' to 'little boys with toys' all on the expense of the TV liscence payers, what a waste of money .........the morons.
Get back to being a motoring advise programme not a giggly playground half hour, there's so many good things they could be screening about motoring, but instead prefer cheap gibes and easy money.

How is it a waste of money when it makes a huge profit for the BBC in overseas sales. Its popular all over the world as well as the UK. So in effect they are proping up other less popular stuff. Its like Marmite, love it or hate it but you cant say its a waste of money. If it went back to being a serious motoring program I along with many would probably stop watching.

Couldn't agree more. Found it funny and gave me something to simle about for the rest of the evening and on the rare occasion they do give some useful info .
Yes all 3 presenters are paid stupid money to goof about on national TV, which some would find offensive BUT these same "Good People" have the freedom to switch-over. That's no different to the hundred's of people that tune into Trash TV - Otherwise know as the Jeremy Kile Show. Personally I would rather rub my genitalia with a blunt brick that watch JK, but I simply turn over!!
That's what "Freedom of Choice" is all about ladies and Gents :D
