Toilet Fluid

Living abroad I find it almost impossible to find bio washing powder or tablets what other recommendations do members have? Is ordinary washing powder o.k.?

I am sure I got bio in lidl when in Portugal? Will keep an eye out when we are there...if you are close to central Portugal we could bring some out next trip? Not sure about non bio powder but some versions of Tide powder and liquid contain enzymes

I am always taken back in time in Portuguese supermarkets with Tide, Omo, and Surf on the shelves with the laundry soap!

Vintage cleaning products

These were given to me 4 or 5 years ago by Banjo Billy, but haven't used them yet as it seems such a shame to open the packets.
Look at the price! :)

Lux flakes and Fairy soap.jpg

Apparently some elderly relatives of his had started hoarding cleaning stuff in their dotage They found cupboards chock full of Lux and Fairy soap when the time came to clear out their house.

Bill and his wife took them away to use them up, he reckoned they could almost have opened a shop there were so many.
If you visited Bill and his wife you automatically came away with one of each.

They certainly didn't need to buy any soap flakes or soap for a very long time, and probably still working their way through the stash...! :lol-053: :D
