Thunderbird 4 for Tonka Toy ?

I am thinking of getting a small motor to carry in the back of the Tonka Toy, to go shopping and sight seeing in !
It must be small, light, and disabled friendly and ok on motorways for junction hoping .
The tail lift will lift 1\2 a ton and my load space is about 8.6 feet
I was thinking of a road legal quad bike/ buggy , axim , smart car or a secma Qpod .
What does everyone else think or use ?

Tonka was bought because its under 7.5 ton with lift . It's manly for me to use and live in part time so I want a bit more comfort but I also take two disabled friends to music festivals who on a good day can walk but on a bad day need a wheel chair . I don't want to tow anything as I like to get in to odd spots and don't like the idea of backing up something big with a trailer on it down a tight lane because of some idiot in a little red sports car

Suzuki Cappuccino, Great fun, very small, very low (which is why I no longer have it). Not that many about and if you did go for one, rust could be a problem as they were not under-sealed when built.:have fun:

Think you're going to struggle with a wheel chair on all of those and would have to fabricate something up to hold it (not sure an Axiam can hold two people and a wheel chair.)

That being the case, I'd just go for a motorbike/big scooter.

Presuming they can use legs a bit, it shouldn't be any worse than the quad, but considerably smaller.
Would have to get a licence if you don't have one, however.

I believe my tail lift is a half tonne one and it does struggle a bit if you load it up, so worth testing that before purchasing!

I fancy a quad , my friends can both walk without assistance most of the time but one get sore and tired very quickly. The other has a condition that stops them completely to the point of collapsing. So they could be helped into an axim or similar but not onto a Quad and and one wouldn't be able to hold on till the episode passed ,which can be anything from 10 mins yo 4 weeks in hospital

I have ridden quads very occasionally, but as a biker, never got the point of them.

They are less stable cornering on the road (try and flip ontop of you) and off road need to be slid (ok, this can be fun ) to corner.
They take up more space and are slower for a comparable engine etc.
Seems to be the worst bits of a bike (getting wet, limited space, etc) and a car (wide, compromised handling due to not leaning into corners, etc).

I used to ride one for work and we used it more as a small tractor than a large bike. For their size they are powerful and can pull more than their own weight. We used to carry it on a trailer then when on site we used the trailer behind the quad itself.
