This rig at Stratford camper show last weekend.

Queenie 1.jpg

This is a prime example of why as the organiser of the joint "Adventure Overland Show" (mainly 4WD) + "International Campervan Show" (mainly 2WD) I try to encourage owners to park family runabouts (in this case a Nissan hatchback) in the 'car parks' provided ... they ruin photos!

Whatever you think about a display vehicle - good, bad or indifferent - to have cars in a Display Vehicle Area is wrong. In fact within Trade Stands I ban cars totally!

As for Queenie, I think she's great. Absolutely bonkers of course, that's what makes her great.

Yes, must admit it was annoying having cars in the way of a good photo shot! ;)

And yes, Queenie might be bonkers, but she's certainly way more interesting than the army of bog-standard, white 'ice cream' boxes that constitute modern mainstream motorhome production.

Great show, btw, my first time there, many thanks for organising it, throughly enjoyed it (y):)

Roll on restrictions lifted for next time!

Reminds me of an old box car from the American railroads.
