Thetford cassette c1/2

Here goes, i bought a second as new cassette last night for £10, problem is the empty spout and release button are at the wrong end but looking at it it seems they can be right or left, so before I attack it does anyone know how to take the bits of and change round please.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect you are out of luck. The top and bottom sections are plastic-welded or similar and the tops are different moldings. Back on Facebook Marketplace?

I had to swap loo around for the self build as the door was at the wrong end, but I'm pretty sure you CANNOT change the cassette itself Trev, it would probably leak, whack it on Ebay for £20 take £15.

Did you have to make the changes to the toilet part as per the video as well as the cassette?

When I empty our cassette, nine times out of ten I just pop the pouring spout off and don’t bother unscrewing the cap. It’s a lot easier to check that it is completely empty. It’s amazing how many people don’t realise that the pouring spout comes off!
