Our cassette needs replacing and the only ones I can find have wheels and they are c 200. Does anyone know if it will fit? If I order and test it I might not be able to send it back if its obvious it has been inserted into the locker under the toilet.

Also what does anyone use on the rubber seal to keep it supple?

I would contact companies who specialise in thetford equipment. I doubt if you will be able to contact thetford directly. So take a look at this and contact them here.

Hi Martin,
I’m struggling to work out why your cassette needs completely replacing when parts are readily available to refurbish yours.

Tried that, it’s a bit hit and miss as to whether the dealers know the answer - haven’t found one yet!

I got a second cassette as part of a C200 freshen up kit - new one has wheels and fits fine where the original one without wheels :)

My neighbour had a problem with the connection leaking between toilet and cassette (dometic in her case). I suggested having a search on Youtube as where one person has a issue, there are bound to be others... found the fix was lubrication of the seals but can't recall what she used.

I replaced my without wheels for one with wheels and fits perfectly but I also got the stair bits to fix my old one very easy to do so now I have a spare when needed.

Given the placement of the wheels the capacity will be reduced rendering it useless to a lot of members on here with the amount they produce o_O

Nooooooooo I once had an awful experience with one of those all I shall say on the matter is if you are young and have perfect flow control they are great but if you are a lady of a certain age and when you have to go you have to go you get backfill. 🤣🤣🤣🫣🫣 I think a petrol funnel would be more use. 😱

I second r4dent's comment above.

Bought a "Fresh Up Kit" from Jackson's to have a spare cassette and their service is excellent.

all the working parts of a cassette come in one piece about £50 but would definitely go for a new cassette & clean & store the old one as a spare and silicon spray is what you need to rejuvenate the seals
