Hiyyyaaaa Billi.......

I blame you and Deb ;) after talking to you at SH I have had the blues:sad: because you are living my dream ;)....But seriously I think you have a wonderful life and I was so impressed with your motorhome and your sense of freedom was refreshing, oh and you make a mean chilli to Mmmmmm:rolleyes2:. I am looking forward to gabbing more to you hopefully at future meets, and I think your right I have never been known to do anything by halves, I am an all or nothing kinda girl !!!!

Happy travelling say hi to Debbie from us

One bit of advice I would give....both of you having been busy all your working lives is..... have a goal, or have something that you are passionate about to fill your days. If you wander round the countryside aimlessly you will soon get bored. For me it is cycling the coastline of Britain, when that's done it'll be Ireland or Europe.
But definitely go for it, it's cheaper than you might think.....and like you say ....if you don't you will find yourself wondering "if only" and "I could have" in your old age.
It was nice to meet you both last weekend, by the way :goodluck:

Thanks RT ...your right, I think it be healthy for us to have seperate interests...himbenny loves lorries (its in his blood) so as long as he could still do his driving now and then he will be happy he wouldnt have a choice he would need to keep an income coming in. I love my crafts and holistic therapies and have never practised since I qualified so I would think about doing something along them lines.
It was nice meeting you too....but my god it was((((( cold !!!!!!!!))) Hope to see you at the next meet :D

Ive always had a similar thought myself.
I don't have children so there will not be anyone to leave my house/savings etc to! I used to joke about buying a motorhome, selling the house and going off in the van and spend all the money before i need to settle, "there's no way the government are having what i've worked for when I'm gone".
Now, here I am having bought a motorhome 4 years ago and loving it, still thinking about what to do in my later years?

I think at the moment, my main priority in the next 7 years is to hopefully sell my current house which has been on the market for 18months now and get the house Ive been dreaming of for the last year. It's got a little plot of land next to it so I want to do a little motorhome stop off place on it, not a full campsite as I don't want to be tied to it, just an area for us wildcampers who may need a stopover area for one night.

whatever you decide herbenny1, I wish you the best of luck and have fun
Lotty
