carnt even find the dam web site now but will keep looking

Hi all. Been away for the w'end so only just caught up with this, some great vans, but going back to Lenny's original quest, here's a pic. of my G.M.C.

Logbook say's 1980 but that was import date I'm sure biuld was 1976/7.

Tips on running an older camper:-

No1 essential "A SENSE OF HUMOR."

Also a good tool kit, try to learn as much as you can about the mechanicals, and a good imagination when it comes to temporary repairs (polite way of saying you need to be a good bodge artist).

Hope this helps?

geof one heluva van love it

Love the van Geoff, I've seen it a few times on this site but did'nt realise it could be 30 years old. Just goes to show the importance of regular maintenance and TLC.
I wonder if these modern motorhomes will stand the test of time,(depends on the owners, I suppose).

P.S. Your'e right about the sense of humour needed

Regards.. Lenny:cool:
