So they let you use their sites for three hours, is this official and for all sites.

Hi Bill Any that have the Motorhome Stop Off Point will let you rock up for 3 hours and refresh etc I have rung some before and they are like what we have never had anyone use that as of yet all I say is I do it on every one with a stop off look in your paperwork you will see it is a service this group offers I have not yet had one site say no not letting you do that. I have done this on sites from cornwall to scotland many times. It is very handy on say the 3rd or 4th day of touring to be able to empty the cassette. fill water and empty waste and have a nice hot shower while your washing is in the laundrette :) :). I have the app on my phone and set it to look up only Motorhome Stop Off ones I then just ring them and explain what I intend to do you get maybe 1 in 10 say ewwww never had someone ask for that before but yes of course come on in it is not a problem at all. I could of course be having a senior moment and am talking about a different club altogether lol this is the one i am a member of and this is there official ad for using the stop off service Service Stop-Off Points - The Camping and Caravanning Club

UPDATE I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT A DIFFERENT CLUB COMPLETELY SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION IT IS A MIX OF OLD AGE AND BEING GROUNDED AT HOME DUE TO ILL HEALTH I AM GOING STIR CRAZZZYYYYYYY NEED TO GET OUT AND WILD IT :) :)

Agree with all the comments above (other than total fail). CL and CS sites are also useful if you want to stay more than a couple of nights ... The most we ever stay in one location is two when Wilding.

They also have specialist interest sections - one we joined as C&CC MAS (mountain activity section) not strenuous walking and cycling, as it sounds. They have special meets. We have not done any of the regional group meets either. But agree, a lot have got pricey now. When I have looked at areas we want to visit, the camping and Caravan club seems to be more expensive .

thanks didn't know about MAS, i'm gonna rejoin :)
