Tell me what you think.

I'd volunteer but I didn't understand half of what you have said. No idea what colour an IGN is? Acronyms List - Computer Acronyms (common) 250 IT Acronyms IGN not one of them?
I do find the most important word to know is 'JUST' for it's the most often used word in IT. Just download this. Just set up this. Just convert this. Just use these digital mapping systems. Just tightrope over these ragging rapids.

I'm always willing to learn if someone has the patience and aptitude to show me.

I could describe to you how you build a top fuel dragster 500 cubic-inch V8 Hemi engine from a box of bits that could take you along to 300 mph but if you don't know what a gudgeon pin is you wouldn't get far.

I would like a floating [always on the screen] scroll to top button like the one on EBay searchers? For when the girls get their handbags out.

I think I am not alone?

As David has pointed out, IGN are the mapping organisation for France, much as the Ordnance Survey are for the UK.

I did reference this in my description of how the POIs are recorded ...

I am in France at present and will be for some time. If you would like to send me your phone number by PM, I am happy to call you when convenient and we can have a chat.

I am at the moment working on the site updates. I would like to know what you would like to see added, removed or changed. This is not question about moderation or members, it is about features.

I am working on the online POI database with POI Map, that will be ready before Christmas.

Any thoughts?

When returning to the forum after a couple of days and wishing to follow a particular post an option to go to 'last read post'
would save trawling through posts one has already read.

Hi admin, I am liking the little arrow thing that takes you to the last post on a thread from the home page, keep up the good work and merry Christmas andyjanet

Loading POI's onto maps4me apple iPhone app.....

I have maps 4 me on my tablet and have the POIs loaded on that and I can and do access them offline, and will in France shortly, but I believe these have been updated and I need to delete these and and add the new update but I am loathe to do this as , as a computer numpty I may loose what I already have and am a firm believer in a bird in the hand etc,so a printed copy would be great , Tant Pis.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Dear Vindiboy, I have maps 4 me on my iPhone & what a cracking useful piece of kit that is. As so many bits of software require internet access which is pretty near impossible at all the Wild Camping spots that I go to, maps 4 me is simply superb, or rather it would be, but how do I go about loading POI's on to my iPhone. ?

Thanks

Captain Biggles :plane:
