Tekaloid paint question

No spray equipment, Alan, just by hand.

Maybe have to wait until next year now, unless I can get it under cover.

Still getting confused about which paint is best.
Is there a good one that will do both fibreglass and metal? There's a lot of white involved (!) and only the back body panels (fibreglass) would be painted a different colour.
I'm looking for a very pale green.

There are several different colour charts on the Smith and Allan website and it looks as though they might be able to mix a colour to suit.

The best thing is for me to speak/visit them directly for their advice

hi, all the industrial coating will stick to all surfaces .
i got into vw restorations and worked to a real nice finish . then was asked to spray a mates truck . i used tekaloid as he supplied the paint . asked at r/o a big truck company locally how they did it .all there trucks were painted in tekaloid . they said almost boil it then spray it . it shone like glass, had a new job then painting trucks for my mate in between my own work.
we sprayed rollered brushed all sorts of trucks and steam traction engines . you have to brush a traction engine just doesnt look right sprayed .
dont be scared have a go. brushing can save time as masking up isnt so difficult .
most of the tractor /industrial paints have limited colours but usually theres enough to find a good one .
we ended up doing quite a few cheap resprays on the vw campers for customers , many of the colours almost match the original ones . if you dont look too hard .
after all if you dont like it you can paint it again in another colour next time .
go on its fun . once you have done one you cant wait for the next one .
