Taylormade/Silverscreens

I bought some Taylor Made ones years ago. They were local to me so I collected. It's a family business run from a shed, not a slick corporate.
The screen cover was excellent, and I used it a few times before deciding I don't like the things in the first place. But it packed up small until it went with the van when I sold it.
At the time, Taylor Made were better for external, Silver Screens for internal. But that was long ago.

As i say, have mailed them trying to put it to bed so will see if i get a response.TM seem to be incommunicado so will see what gives

Hi Jeff,

Yes we are Silverscreens,
We have recently had issues with our emails and can can only apologize for the lack of response from your enquiry email at the weekend.
As soon as we realised there had been a problem, a message was uploaded to our website.
I understand that not everyone will have seen this message, and your sharp follow up email was interpreted wrongly.

Quoted from your email 'Do you not answer your emails? emailed you on Sunday and still no response.'
Sometimes someone's tone is difficult to interpret via a text or email message.

Moving forward, I have just checked our work emails and nothing else has arrived from you today?
If it is possible, could you please private message me your email address, vehicle details and I will jump on this as soon as I get into work in the morning.
(I have looked at how to message you but couldn't see how to do this).
If this is not possible please could you use our back up email silverscreens@outlook.com.

Kindest Regards Silverscreens.

Another happy 'taylormade' customer here.

Not sure what the issue may be at the other end, but I'd suggest everyone has a bad day from time to time. Though can understand if they've narked you off
Taylormade were very helpful to me when I needed advice, it is or was run by two Sisters who took over when their Parents retired, they used to attend C&CC rallies (as members/ralliers) and were very nice, I only found out their relationship to Taylormade when I was telling someone how good the silverscreens were on my Iveco, she had seen them earlier so asked me to make it clear they were actually Taylormade not a competitors, she then told me who she was, one of them had to have an operation earlier this year so things might be getting on top of them

Free members can't use the PM system. :)

Just as a final update, spoke to a very nice lady at S/S,phone engaged and informed to try again later.Within a minute S/S had rang me back and delivery due for next Wednesday.Pleasure to deal with, wish i had just phoned in the first place now to be honest but i sometimes think an email enquiry is handy because you can deal with it when you have a quiet moment whereas a phone call has to be taken there and then, but i suppose people are just becoming used to firing off an email.

Anyways, jobs a goodun' and a thank you to Silverscreens

That may be much of the problem. Outlook.com is an exceptionally had choice of email. They filter email to remove spam, but rather too enthusiastically.
Emails labelled as spam are deleted without telling the sender or the recipient.
If you must use a free email service, use Google mail. That at least keeps suspected spam in a junk mail folder for a month so you can look through it for false positives.
Better still, get yourself a proper email service, using your own domain name.

They do run gmail as their main email ,the outlook was simply a back up email.Talking to the lady today ,she said one minute they were there and gone the next and have been unable to recover them.As you say, your own domain is paramount really
