I use Tapatalk on my iPhone - it allows you to bring l your forums to one place and gives you a simply advert free view if posts.

I find it user friendly and so simple to keep up to date with activity. Also on the move it means you can access stuff without the need for your PC or Mac.

This forum is not Tapatalk compliant so I wonder how many others would like this feature?

As I have already explained to Angelo in a string of messages, this forum is not going to have tapatalk installed.

By doing this I give a third party access to control this forum and access to personal information.

It also requires me to Register under the data protection act at extra cost as I would be sharing information with a third party.

Also this forum has bespoke code running that would need rewriting to use Tapatalk.

We already have free apps for iPhone, iPad and Andriod devices that do the same job but also include Groups and Blogs.

As Angelo is a new user, I suggest he came here to plug this app. Perhaps he ought to reconsider his place in this forum, especially if you have already been approached by him/her a few times.

I am a new member here and paid up a sub as well. I am not new to forums and subscribe to a number of others that meet with my needs.

I have used IT type technologies for a significant number of years and am always looking for ways to slim down what I carry and simplify how I access facilities. I am not only a Motorhomer with over 25 years experience in most of Europe but also a touring motorcyclist who often camps, hence the need for mobile technologies.

Far from joining to promote Tapatalk -I am simply asking why it's not available as all other forums I use have it and it has become the only route if access to many lightweight Travellers. Remember that you can use 3G and now 4G to access Tapatalk with out the bandwidth needed for full web access - this is a major advantage and the only way in if you do not have a PC with you.

To reply I am using the Forum's own app and compliment you on the look and feel and use ability of it BUT it has to sit outside of my Tapatalk folder and so be managed and accessed separately

I appreciate the comments made to me, received this morning although to state that there are only 0.07% access via mobile dies suggest that you have not addressed this market as the percentage access is far below that for the rest of the web.

I put the post up to see if I was alone - clearly the post could have developed but it looks like change and members opinion is not something welcomed.

With regards my position in the forum - can you examine this please - I joined have posted an introduction, read posts, contributed posts and importantly paid a subscription for it - if suggesting we revisit Tapatalk is upsetting to some by all means discuss it rather than reply in a negative and personal way (I don't think "flaming" is helpful.

Angelo, I do not think that you have been flamed.

I have explained to you why this site will not have Tapatalk installed.
We do cover mobile use with our own apps, so to suggest that it is not covered is incorrect.
Tapatalk is only one of the multi forum apps available and it is not free to use.

I use tapatalk and this site used to work on the old version of tapatalk but stopped a while back. I use tapatalk for other forums and find it useful
but I realise it is up to the site owner to use it or not.
I will check out the android app now I realise there is one.

Where would I find said App please?

I use the Wild app on an iphone and I find it works really well. It's especially useful when out in the van and as it's yet to crash on me it seem much more stable than some other forum apps I've used.

Although it might be handy to you to have tappytalk I think you'll find the Wild app is intuitive to use and shouldn't be too difficult for you to get to grips with.

Down here in Spain, Tapatalk is what you do while sitting on the beach with friends, drinking vino tinto and eating small plates of food.
