That's what I am looking at Steve to replace my old carver that went up the creek first day on our 90 days trip last year, Now Rhona is home and getting better I have a bit of time to do some jobs on the van
I had a measure up and think I can get it in where the old carver is

We have an Imass one and it's ok, but needs careful flow control to get proper hot water especially in winter when our underslung tank is colder

If it is a Morco rather than Murco the ones I have seen are close to £700.

I have a electric hand wash unit with a 6/8 ltr inside tank, also a big kettle in the kitchen.

Don't you think they would have thought of that before paying huge sums of money to replace all of the heaters?

Has anyone fitted one of the Whale Expanse underfloor water heaters? I keep thinking of removing the calorifier and fitting one but never got round to it

I fitted the underfloor version on my self build MWB Boxer a number of years ago. The choice was mainly on the basis of space. I don’t have a shower so couldn’t comment on its performance in this respect. When it comes to flow rates I would avoid 90 deg bend joints where it comes through the floor if at all possible. I think some have had problems with hard water and the drain valve leaking. Whale advised using some descaling powdered to avoid this. You do get some drips as the valve also acts as pressure release as the water heats up.
