I got ones from a old ford and modified them for 2 seats in my 6 seater so 2 can turn round to face the dinning table, well worth doing.

Sod it i`ve ordered 2,hope they fit?? 😁
Most must be modified, ie bolt holes on them or the old seat rails, there is no such thing as a straght fit, easy job mind you and worth it.
The ones i got from s yard i had to cut down mounting plate and cut a grove for reverse lock pin to engage.
Ones on line will have this as standard so dont panic.

I wanted my passenger seat to swivel but, according to the company that are finishing the conversion for me, it can't be done because the single seat which my original converters fitted for me is non-standard. I'm sure they had said it wouldn't be a problem.
So I need someone who knows what they are doing to sort it out. This looks a good price but no use me buying it if it really can't be done.

It can be done, but it will require someone with a electric welder and some other tools to sort frame to swival mounting alinement

I am not a TEMU fan as most of the stuff seem to be poor quality copies of the real thing. And getting a cheap swivel plate is IMO asking for trouble. Even the better ones can have issues so god knows what a knockoff TEMO one is like!
I would say avoid like the plague and if anyone does get one, check it really well and see if you can break it - it needs to be able to withstand very high forces in a crash so if you can do it any damage before it is fitted, it should be binned!

It is very likely that you can get a swivel plate for your van and it is usually a simple job to adapt to suit the mounting positions.
something that should be considered - and more so if fitting on a drivers seat though - is the effect on the seat height. These can raise the seat by upto 3" and that can cause a problem with shorter legs reaching the pedals. Another possible issue is raising your eyeline above the window frame. which can be quite an annoyance.
FWIW, I fitted plates to my VW T4 and I removed them later due to the eye-level thing - and my partner had the same problem in the passenger seat despite being only around 5' 7" or so.

In my VW LT, I swapped the front cab seats for Ford Galaxy seats which have integral swivel plates, so no extra height involved and a very good solution (better than my swivels in my current Ducato)

Look into are they crash tested .their are electronics built into seats for air bags and seat belts warning lights , after disconnection may need a diagnostic re set , .

A key thing to do when disconnecting and reconnecting air bag sensors is at the minimum keep the ignition turn off all the time, and ideally disconnect the battery during the process.
This is applicable for seats a well as if removing the steering wheel or working around other front/side/curtain airbags.

Well the seat swivel plate has arrived and it`s quite a weight ,it`s probably heavier than the seat . I`m going to wait till it`s warmer to fit that ,do the passenger seat first, there`s more room and fitting the drivers side will be easier.

In our last T5 the swivels were good quality and felt solid but the ones in our current T5 seem a bit less solid. It’s a bit rattly when driving if no one sitting in it.

Dont have any of that cr-p in my wagon, belts are floor and wall mounted on fronts and rears are taxi seats with self mounted belts, no warning lights.

I have the swivel seats from the Ford galaxy passenger seat fine but I found the drivers seat a bit too high in my transit so it’s now relegated to my car garage. Only paid £90 each from a scrapyard just outside of exmouth.

haha trouble was they were the only ones I could find at the time trev apart from one up in Durham which was £75 but I was visiting a friend’s daughter who lives in exmouth so it was convenient for me anyway. 👍
