Hello everyone,
Having just got a Swift 590RS I find the rear wheels send a huge amount of muddy spray over everything behind them, step, drain tap, lighting wiring and so on.
On our old vehicle I bought some spray guard stuff, a sort of black artificial grass to look at. However, There are no guards at all on the new vehicle, so cannot see how I might fix them. I am reluctant to fix stuff through the floor.
Can anyone help to stop spraying all those behind me, as well as keeping the underside of our van cleaner?
Thanks for reading this far.

Lucky i have a truck chassis so a alloy shield is fixed which i am going to bolt on rubber flaps, you could do the same with angle screwed to floor and the mount the rubber flaps to that.

Thanks for your replies

Well, thanks for those replies.
I had thought I'd have to fasten something through the floor to hold the spray mat I had got, but am uncertain just how much the underside of the floor can take. Can I assume it's 10mm thick at least?
The second reply, thanks again, but the Swift has nothing whatever fixed behind or in front of the wheel, so there's no way of fixing those lovely neat ones you showed me.
I just want to a, stop spraying vehicles behind me, as I hate that myself, and b, the spray had found it's way into running lights, number plates lights and other connections.

Another option may be to fit a full width "curtain" to the bottom of your rear "bumper". Dont know your van so not sure if its feasible

As Below

His prob is the spray is also coming of the wheels and socking the rear of the tail lights and floor section,as i said a bit of alloy angle bolted to floor with a rubber flap will work,i used on a wagon once a strip of old convair belt.
