Hi all,my 1985 207D Merc has a decided lean to the right, not really a problem while driving as the road camber seems to cancel it out. I don't know if its been an issue from new as the water, diesel and gas are all on that side with nothing on the left apart from the waste tank to counter all that weight. A previous owner has fitted rear air suspension but it leaks like a sieve and only holds air for a few hours, I've had a look and the rh air bag has a leak at the top so I'm assuming the bag is US.
Its an old system that doesn't seem to exist anymore so I'd be looking at two replacement bags which are too expensive to consider at the moment.
Is there any sort of cheap easy fix for the spring suspension to counteract this problem? I'm intending to travel over the channel in the next few weeks so the problem will only get worse driving on the opposite camber.
Any suggestions welcome, thanks!
