Considering tackling this in the next few weeks. Any comments on accessability/wilding for a 7m moho?

Ive stopped here before in the winter but many years ago. I seem to remember its not far from the Patterdale track up to Striding edge.

Could well be signs up now and last year they were kicking wild campers out of the national park at all hours. Not sure what its like this year.

Good luck on both counts...Not much parking at Glenridding but quite flat on the summit !
Depending on your fitness you could walk up from the Thirlmere side then descend to Red tarn via Swirral edge. Then back up via Striding edge !

I read aira force car park now allow overnight MH parking ( check first ??)

Hi I am not sure if they are still enforcing a "no wild camping ban" in the National Park, it was a Bye-law they brought in at the beginning of the covid lockdowns. They were waking people up in the middle of the night to move them on, some were even escorted out of the county.
