Stonehenge The Drove

I am heading down to Portsmouth from North East England next week and considering stopping off at Stonehenge, The Drove for a night.
I have a large Eldiss Aspire 7.3 M long so dont think the single track route from Larkhill is suitable, do any members know if I can get direct access from the A303 or is it gated as shown on Google maps from last year or are there any other places close by. Thanks

Access from Larkhill is fine. I used this route last year with my 7.75m Autotrail Dakota with no issue.

The surface is poor in places so take it slowly and you'll be fine.

Turning off the A303 is too risky in my view. Turning onto it to leave is fine if you are cautious.

It’s plenty wide enough just very deep ruts in the track but as above take it slow and steady you’ll be fine.
