Hi
Could anyone recommend a steering wheel clamp that would fit a 2006 VW T5. I appreciate that all of them are simply deterrents - I've looked at both disc lock and bar types - but it's not clear on which vehicles the devices will fit. Thanks for looking :drive:

Disklok is the way to go get a steering wheel glove as well

Disklok for me every day of the week......
strong and close to impossible to get off without resorting to power tools.... especially with a bit of judicious welded reinforcements.
Bar types are easy to remove in seconds by cutting the wheel rim.

Another vote for Disklok, just measure diameter of your steering wheel to get the correct size.
Check EBay etc, usually plenty available.

We usually reinforce the rear of the Disklok making it a very tight fit and prevent removal without using a, great deal of force and noise.
The fact that it makes the wheel almost impossible to turn with it fitted means that if you park up with the wheels of full lock it's difficult to push off a driveway etc.

Again Disklok

For us.
Use it even when in a supermarket Carpark.

Mistericeman's idea of full lock is good as well

Just to repeat that unless the design has changed recently the medium is the same physical size as the large it just has more foam padding inside (easily removed).

Mediums crop up more often on ebay and are generally cheaper.

Disc-lock AND a tracker. Anything that doesn't envelope the whole steering wheel is a waste of time and the old fashioned crook-locks take more time to fit than it takes to remove one without a key.

After my van was stolen last year they jammed the tracker,I am now reluctant to rely on electronic means but willl strongly use mechanical devices,I now use a Disklok and a Clutch Claw which locks the pedals.
I also have an alarm to warn of break in.

I used a ClutchClaw on my T4. Smaller and easier to store and deploy that the Disclock. Van was never stolen...

I use the Disclock on my current van, but only because it is an auto. Awkward to store when not in use though, due to it's size.

Thanks for all the advice.
Disklok bought for good price on ebay!
This site really is a gem isn't it...

Clutch claw can also be adjusted by the user to fit automatics.
