From 1 April, this much loved scheme is back, with a few new places. Its now a reasonable £7 a night, payable online.

It used to be free in most of their car parks. Checked on Strone Hill where I stayed free in 2021. £7 per night now.

So having paid via tax for these carparks to be made we are now to be charged again for using them? Hardly seems fair to me.

Personally, I am more than happy to pay my £7 for a guaranteed place to stay overnight, in some lovely areas.
These car parks all need maintenance, and the ones I have used often have a warden paying a visit to check there are no 'undesirables' staying.
There are still so many places in Scotland where you can park for free if you dont want to pay.
