still sleepless tonite but will now after reading all dis at 3.30am now parched so must seek a wee dram (large one in Ireland here).
Being an adopted Gaswegian and irish o boot, I canm claim some small ( lifetime's) acquaintance with de stuff and must say i was surprised about all the guff about it being resurrected ( ok likely true) bui6t not that t is the only and Elglish whiskey. Obviously the blaring pr firm promoting this brand have never heard of Sheep Dip or Pig's Nose :both traditional and damn good English whiskeys as U will discover if you are lucky enough to come across them. Which poses thequestion : thescots spell Whisky as in Scotch-the Irish which is triple distilled spell it whiskey as opposed to poteen which is just barely distilled but wow! When it's good it's better! And illegal!
By the bye :my sainted Aun a cosseuisseur of a fine malt if ever there ws one
swore by Pig's Nose but was never unwilling to have a Sheep Dip.And she lives to 101!

Hi all.
Got another email from The English Whisky Co today, it will be on sale again on or around 9th march. You can collect it direct from the distillery shop, or you can call 01343 545111 to find your nearest stockist.
If there isnt one near Leeds, can someone get me 2 bottles and bring them to Hayfield or Millers Dale.(its my birthday soon).
Cheers, Pete
