Just been on the English Whisky website, looking for the first single malt to be made in England for over 100 years.
Theres been so much demand for it today, possibly through a few mentions on radio2 this morning. The website says you should be able to get some on line by the weekend.
Hope so, I need some for the Xmas meet in Wales.
Cheers, Pete

Get a life !!!

So this firm started up 12 years ago to allow the flavours to develop in the casks.....I don't think so !!!
It's just a gimmick....Go for the real thing, distilled by those who know !!!
BLOODY SCOTLAND !!!!!! they also welcome motor homes....Norfolk whiskey
Get real.........:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

It's probably Norfolkangood!:D sorry, that's a members handle but seems appropiate. But worth a try you never know, might be nice to wash the Norfolkangood turkey down:Dit's quite nice really, don't know about the whisky, bring it on Pete, and well spotted. I will bring the Scottish version.;)

Apologies to Norfolkangood for using his name.:)

Well I have no qualification in whisky drinking circles other than I have been known to partake in a drop now and again.

Scottish,English and Welsh it sounds like a home nations challenge ...and tbh whats wrong with that!!!!???

If you have any sense at all, The answer will be inconclusive and a time and date set for a re run!!!....naturally in the name of science or your allegiance to a nationalistic tendency!!

****..Scottish, English, Welsh or Afghan, who cares at the moment? ...there are weekends away here boys in the bag..dont blow it at this stage!!!.

Of course if you really want er indoors dragging you around Teso's at the weekend?...... carry on :D

stating the friggin obvious here but…

no 2 wikseys taste the same .... you either like it or you don't

by far the majority of good, drinkable, wikseys emanate from Scotland:)
... but that's my view, based on my palate receptors.:p

yours will be different

Sadly the majority of wiskey coming out of bonnie Scotland these days is mass produced for the market. Nothing wrong with that it if you want a quick night cap in the pub or at home. But IMHO the most interesting come from small independant distillers, sometimes like a vinyard they can be good and sometimes they can 'for me' be bad but for someone else they will be the best whisky ever tasted.

I'm willing to bet just like the beers coming out of micro brewerys that these chaps in Norfolk have put their heart and soul into producing something special. I might like it I might hate it but at least its not going to be mass produced.

Bring it on!!! the pubs close enough to wash the taste away if needs be :)

Aj's right, no two taste the same, I like most brands apart from Laphrog!!:D sorry Rick, to me it's like a throat aneasthetic, can't speak next morning:eek
Will be interesting to try the English brand, and compare it to the Welsh. I feel a tasting session coming on:cool:

Happy Camping:)

Oh yes it did! For the last decade you've been able to have a tour and a tasting, but they've not sold any bottles.

No, My kids don't drink.... Well as far as I know.... Toddlers has always been a mystery to me and Allison always has rosey cheeks when she gets back....

Seriously were taking the bikes (push) and hoping to have a look around. Because of the kids we also won't be spending hours in the pub in the evening :)

Just poured a 12 year old................................................................................. Glenlivet........MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.absolute nectar, It was for the upcoming madness but when a day of yuletide bag scrapping, is a fate that awaits the rising dawn, then a few slurps of heavens dew is a distraction ;)of need.
