Squeals on wheels...why did you want a motorhome.

Freedom and flexibility: the option to go where I want, when I want at the lowest cost, benefiting from some security while avoiding soggy tents and stuffy B&Bs.

a B&B for me costs around £45-55 as im single a hotel £65-75 thats 300 miles plus of fuel and beer.

Precisely. This £45 would fund 3 separate camping trips to the Brecon Beacons where wilding is free, easy and even allowed in some parts.

Having lived on a narrow boat for 12 years. Having to move into sheltered accommodation for health and friggin'*safety reasons last December. Getting stir-crazy during the winter. Having had three VWs in the past, it had to be a MH.

Something bigger than the VWs this time though. I'm 6ft 4ins when laid out* and I need more space when I can't bend.

I am currently buying a Hymer B534, 1991/2, but in immaculate condition. That'll do me and the dog (and the GF if she can stand the dog!).

I'll be far more content wild camping. No plans, just wandering, watching the boats go by, than sitting at home in a flat scratching my Rs, nice as it is**.

Live life while you have life to live.

* Wishful thinking.

** The flat, not my Rs.
