but one note is online only which does not suit me.
Evernote saves locally but synchs when you go online again.
When we tour we do not always have connectivity !

not necessarily, i have the desktop version (in fairness it comes with office), but you can sync it elsewhere as a back up Good luck, i used evernote many years as student and lecturer x its a great bit of software

In terms of file sharing and syncing, MS OneDrive works pretty well. Saves/Syncs to the cloud and can be accessed from any device and keeps a local copy on each device you use it with.
I use OneDrive primarily for Excel, Visio and Word so I can use either my Laptop or Tower PCs with the same files and of course it means you have a remote backup for security against hardware failure.

I use googlrdrive for my Excel items and more
I also synch to a 2nd hard drive and backup/archive to a 500GB External drive
which is mirrored to a 2nd 500gb external

I think you lot missed an opportunity.
Should have got together and called yourselves "WC Tech Services" at the beginning of the year

VIP contract tendering, no previous experience required, could have probably made a mint by now!
