SnapI've been using lanoguard the past couple of years on both mh and pickup.
Crackle and pop!Snap
Sounds like the same kit I bought Neilnot sure if it varies by the kit you buy but i got a tub of lanolin grease as well as the spray stuff. I bought the extra bit for getting in places like box sections but didn't need that with my sprinter
I haven't yet, want to go back under again and see if it needs any bits i missedSo, What did you guys use the Grease for ?
Designed to mothball aircraft in America. Advertised as safe on electrics, electronics. The only warning I have come across is it will attack natural rubber. But I would mask alternator belt for risk of slipping anyway.Bikers swear by this stuff (ACF 50). I use it myself but never heard of anyone using it on an engine under a bonnet but its pretty good stuff.
I greased all the brake pipe joints and the spare wheel carrierSo, What did you guys use the Grease for ?
ACF 50 in engine bay.Hey guys,
So, Last March I noticed bits of Salt crystal on various parts of MOs engine bay. Came off easy enough with a Brush & fine pump hand spray of water.
However With the impending winter months & Temperatures in Mid Scotland on us again, I’m thinking of Spraying‘Something’ all over the Engine bay, Bodywork, Electrics, Metal work - in fact pretty much everything except the Exhaust System in the hope this might protect it a little from the Harsh weather & MOUNTAINS of road salt that’s bound to be used again over the Dark period.
But WHAT ?
I know WD40 & alike isn’t good on Rubber.
Any suggestions ?
Lanoguard Maybe !
