My speedometer in my Ducato has the speed in Kph marked in orange on the black background. I find it impossible to read.

I am now using satnav software on my Android tablet which, annoyingly, doesn't show the vehicle speed. Well it does but you have to lose some other useful data display such as ETA.

I have found a great solution.

DigiHUD is the name of the app. It's free and allows selection of a small floating window that overlays the satnav app. The floating window can be moved to wherever best suits.

Recommended.

Cheers, what Android sat navigation app do you use out of interest?

CoPilot Truck ...

Two days after I bought this, a Caravan/Motorhome version was announced with an introductory price of £42.99!

I have emailed to enquire if I can exchange the app. The Truck app costs £119.99 ...

Ouch! I use Co Pilot regular version and was wondering about upgrading to the Motorhome version but at £43 more I can't decide. I have full Europe maps but it doesn't appear that you can transfer the licence. Great Sat Nav I reckon.

I'm also using Copilot and am happy with it,it's just taken me faultlessly around the Iberian peninsula.I have looked at the motorhome version but apart from entering the vehicle dimensions can't see much difference to the regular version.I don't think it routes any differently so I'm sticking with the regular version,if it ain't broke don't fix it.

ALK have, very helpfully, agreed to an exchange and refund. Result :D

I have had dealings with ALK and also found them helpful.Does the new motorhome version route you according to the dimensions of the van similar to the truck version?

Yes ... it uses the same mapping from what I can see.

The only difference that I can see is the removal of options irrelevant to motorhomes e.g. hazmat based routing. In essence it has been simplified.

One plus point is that the Caravan (ugh) version correctly displays third party POI icons. I never managed to achieve that with the Truck app.
