Spanish Portable Gas Fire

A challange to you Spanish experts, I bought a Spanish portable gas fire cheap off Ebay. It works using Butane but pilot burns a yellow flame so I may have the wrong gas and should use Propane or does Spanish gas need a different regulator. I fancy it may have to run it on Propane but someone may have experience of the same thing. It is worth pursuing as it seems to be a catalyst type suitable for use in my van?

Yellow flame, especially if there's any sooty deposit indicates a blocked air supply, check the air supply gap for spiders and cobwebs!
