Decided to throw a king’s ransom at lithium batteries and found that my current 230V battery charger was not suitable, hence the sale. Ideal for self build, boat, caravan or motorhome. Literally it has just been taken off our motorhome where it was fixed under the drivers seat; it works flawlessly and is in superb condition. It is suitable for both wet acid batteries and gel batteries; according to Battery Megastore it will also charge AGM batteries but check this out yourself the photo’s should give you all the information you need. All that is required is a in-line plug and cable attaching to the short cable in the photos which in turn plugs directly into the white internal socket shown. The CBE charger comes complete with the original full instruction booklet.

I have been doing some reserch on lithium and your charger would have worked but it would not have taken it up to 100% , to take it to full charge it needs to be 14.6v and yours is 14.3v .
 
@goneoff I have same CB516 and want to replace for lithium charging and wondered what you replaced it with and if there is a direct replacement.
 
Hi there,
I replaced CB516 with a Victron mains charging unit which has Bluetooth connectivity which enables you to check status on your phone. Hope this is of help.

I've just had 2 LiFePO4 batteries installed by @wildebus, who is the acknowledged expert in these matters, and he was happy with the CB-516 that I have under the passenger seat. I've never used EHU in 6 years, but nice to know that the charger is suitable if ever required. :)
 
Does anyone else have a CB516 for sale, mine is faulty?
It must have the NET signal output as well.

I might have a CB516 available, just upgraded the battery to lithium. The charger is literally new, as we've just chopped our MH in for a Knaus. Message me if you're still looking for a CB516.
