I have a panel on the roof but now wish to double up , I cannot remeber how big it actually is, I think it is 120watts but need to be sure as I need to fit the same size.
The solar panel specialist from East Anglia, at the shows sold it to me, but I cannot remember the name so I cannot ask him,
Is there a way of counting the cells to work out the size, there seems to be no actual plate on it to read the details from. Anybody know the way to find out?????

Do you need to have the same wattage panel? I thought it was possible to run 2 different sized panels?

I have 90 and a 40 panel on the roof and they work ok, remember to check the size of the regulator as i had to change mine, also you will need to know what make of panel you have as not all panels are compatable,
Hope this helps,
Ken

Connection

Hi, if you have two panels would you connect them together on roof, or run each independently to the regulator ? Maja

.....spose if cable thick enough you could do the former.....just read thread on MH about solar and regulators....lots to consider !! Maja
