Solar Panel wiring question again!

Connect the regulator to the battery first. Then connect the panel to the regulator.
If you cover the panel up with something it is not so important which way you do it, as long as you only remove the cover when you are finished.
The fuse needs to be on the wire between the regulator and the battery positive terminal. It is best if the fuse is as close to the battery as practicable. I bought an inline fuseholder from Maplin but make sure it will be capable of taking the current (some of them are only rated about 5 amps, so check before you buy).
