I've got 20a epever controller and 200w of panels.

What I want to do is in winter attach an extra folding panel of 120w just for a bit of extra power . Won't be used in summer at all.

Will my 20a cope with this, most I've seen in summer was 11 a .

Controller says max pv array of 390w
And max charge power of 260w @ 12v

This one will charge the starter battery to mppt type.

I've just put in another 150w panel so now have 2 x 150w I was going to connect in parallel so needing a 25-30 amp controller.I bought a 20a epever mppt contoller. and connected in series. For your temporary summer connection you should be able to do the same,I would think.
Of course you need sunshine as shading on part of one panel affects the whole system.

This may help determine your planned upgrade.Going by the information here I,m theoretically capable of producing 296 watts because of my panels differences.
first 150w panel 17.5v 8.57a
second 150w panel 18v 8.33a
Total volts = 35.5
Total current = 8.33
Total power 295.715 watts
mixing solar panels

From my understanding a 20A controller should throttle the solar charge to about 280w so guess it should be fine. Just how often is your combined 320w of panels actually going to produce more than about 280w? But I still don my cap to the much more knowledgeable here.
