Software/Digital Maps for Ireland

Looking for the best software/digital maps for Ireland to run on my In-car PC
(Windows XP). It would be great if there was something like an Irish version of Memory Map OS software, but I dont think there is.
Is there anything better than Microsoft Autoroute???
All suggestions welcome, thanks...

I used to use InfoMap Navigator and Route66. Was very handy when I toured Ireland a few years ago.

I use Garmin mapsource. Covers all of Europe down to street detail and you can upload/ download to the gps unit.

Just been to s.ireland, I had Tom Tom, my son had Naviman thing. off the main roads both were next to useless. But its not hard to find your way round once you start thinking in Irish;)

That would involve the immortal reply "You can't get there from here"

Tried to use a Tom Tom, but kept getting surrounded by Indians. So now use a Garmin on the Mhome, M Bike and use a map to get near the place first. Still like to write a route out from a map, that way you dont end up in duck ponds and things deeper.
